Four things that are true of every visit

Care by an OB/GYN

Every procedure at Oshun is reviewed and led by a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. Dr. Rockhead is a physician first — the same one who treats women's health on the other side of his practice.

30 years caring for women

Three decades as a practicing OB/GYN at Amadeo Medical Group, the parent clinical practice. Every Labial Puff plan is reviewed by a physician who has cared for women through pregnancy, surgery, perimenopause, and post-natal recovery.

Written plan first

Every Labial Puff patient leaves consultation with a written plan: areas, technique, timing, recovery, cost. Returning patients refine the same plan rather than starting from scratch every visit.

Conservative, considered

Oshun's approach favours conservative, considered care over aggressive intervention. Decisions are made in conversation with you, options are presented in plain language, and consent is informed at every step.

The honest version

Why labial puff sometimes disappoints.

Labial Puff disappoints when too much volume is placed, when symmetry isn't carefully mapped, or when filler is placed in the wrong tissue plane.

The instinct to use more filler for a more dramatic result rarely produces a better outcome here. The labia majora are forgiving but not infinite — over-filled tissue can look unnaturally distended or feel firm under clothing. A conservative volume with the option to add at follow-up is the safer path.

Symmetry matters more than volume. Slight pre-existing asymmetry that wasn't mapped before injection can be made worse if equal volume is placed on both sides. The pre-injection planning — not the injection itself — is what separates good results from problematic ones.

At Oshun, we don't run that model. Labial Puff here is physician-led from consultation through follow-up, with a written plan in your hands and a follow-up visit on the calendar before you leave.

A Labial Puff visit at Oshun follows a clear sequence — from consultation through the procedure itself through follow-up. Here is what happens, step by step.

i.

Consultation

Before any Labial Puff is scheduled, you meet Dr. Rockhead in person at 9 Devon Road. He reviews your medical history, examines you as appropriate, and explains the options — including the option not to proceed. You leave with a clear written plan and a quote.

ii.

Preparation

Avoid alcohol 24 hours before. Avoid NSAIDs, aspirin, fish oil and other blood thinners for 7 days where medically safe. Disclose all medications, prior filler placements, and pregnancy status.

iii.

The Labial Puff placement

After topical numbing has taken effect, Dr. Rockhead injects hyaluronic acid filler into the labia majora using a fine needle or blunt-tip cannula. Volume per side is documented for future reference. Symmetry is assessed mid-procedure and at completion. The session itself takes 15–30 minutes.

iv.

Recovery & follow-up

Avoid tight clothing, sexual activity, hot baths/saunas, and intense exercise for 1 week. Ice gently for any bruising. Sleep on your back if comfortable for the first 1–2 nights. We see you back at 2–3 weeks to assess the settled result and discuss any top-up.

The procedure itself.

What it isThe Labial Puff is a non-surgical procedure that uses hyaluronic acid dermal filler placed into the outer labia (labia majora) to restore volume lost through age, weight loss, or post-childbirth changes. It is a 30-minute office visit with immediate result and no downtime.
How long it's been aroundHyaluronic acid fillers in the labia majora have been used cosmetically for over a decade. The technique favours conservative volume placed in a smooth contour rather than aggressive filling.
What we treat with itVolume loss in the labia majora producing a sunken or deflated appearance after weight loss, childbirth, or with age. Some patients also seek it to reduce visibility of the labia minora by adding volume to the surrounding majora.

Is Labial Puff right for you

Who gets the most out of Labial Puff at Oshun.

Labial Puff isn't a one-size category — the right approach depends on your specific situation. Below are common patient profiles we see. If one sounds like you, an in-person consultation at 9 Devon Road is the next step.

Post-weight-loss

Volume restoration after significant weight loss

Weight loss often reduces the fat pad in the labia majora, producing a deflated appearance. Hyaluronic acid filler restores the lost volume non-surgically.

Post-pregnancy

Volume restoration after childbirth

Pregnancy and childbirth can change the appearance of the labia majora. Some women seek volume restoration as part of a broader cosmetic gynaecology plan.

Reducing minora visibility

Filling majora to camouflage minora

Some patients with prominent labia minora prefer adding volume to the majora rather than reducing the minora surgically.

Age-related volume loss

Volume loss with age

Like other areas of the body, the labia majora lose subcutaneous fat with age. Modest volume restoration produces a more youthful contour without surgery.

If this sounds right

The next step is a conversation, not a commitment.

Every Labial Puff patient at Oshun starts with a consultation. Twenty minutes, in-person at 9 Devon Road, with Dr. Rockhead. No procedure is scheduled, no quote is signed, no pressure either way. You leave with a plan and a price — or you leave with neither.

The honest answers

Nine questions every nervous first-timer asks.

Open any of them. We've written each answer the way Dr. Rockhead would actually say it — not the way a brochure would.

How long does Labial Puff last?
The hyaluronic acid filler typically lasts 12–18 months before gradual resorption. Top-ups can extend the result indefinitely.
Is Labial Puff painful?
Topical numbing plus lidocaine in the filler itself makes the procedure tolerable for most patients.
Can Labial Puff be reversed?
Yes — because it's hyaluronic acid, it can be partially or fully dissolved using hyaluronidase, stocked on site.
How much filler will I need?
Typical starting volumes are 1–3 ml per side. Conservative volume is preferred to over-filling.
Is there downtime after Labial Puff?
No formal downtime. Mild bruising or swelling for 24–72 hours. Avoid tight clothing, sexual activity, hot baths, and intense exercise for 1 week.
How soon will I see results?
Immediate volume change visible. Final settled result by 2–3 weeks as swelling resolves.
Are there risks with Labial Puff?
Bruising, swelling, asymmetry, lump formation, allergic reaction to lidocaine, rarely vascular complications. The reversibility makes most concerns addressable.
Can I have Labial Puff if I'm pregnant or breastfeeding?
No — pregnancy and breastfeeding are contraindications. Filler is deferred until after these periods.
How do I book a Labial Puff consultation at Oshun?
Booking is a two-step process: a private consultation first to discuss anatomy and volume, then scheduling. WhatsApp (876) 676-6297.
